Abstract

The Aim of the research work was to synthesis aseries of novel N-[5-(Aryl)-3-phenyl-4,5-dihydropyrazole-1-carbothioyl]-acetamide derivatives and evaluated it . The structural elucidations of newly synthesized compounds were characterized by spectroscopic data such as IR and¹H NMR. The synthesized compounds were screened for their anti-cancer activity against Human breast cancer cell line MCF7. All compounds were found to be moderately active, with compound 3jhaving substitution at 3^rd position with bromine possessed activity comparable with standard drug Adriyamycin having log GI₅₀< -7.0.
